SOBO Sponge Filter with Biological Media

A compact aquarium filter combining filter cotton, biological beads and an air stone to provide gentle mechanical and biological filtration while improving water aeration. Its adjustable airflow makes it suitable for betta fish, shrimp, fry, breeding tanks and quarantine aquariums. Installation & Usage Directions: * Rinse the filter cotton and biological media gently with clean, dechlorinated water before use. * Assemble the filter and place it upright on the aquarium floor, fully submerged. * Connect the filter’s air inlet to a compatible external air pump using airline tubing. * Switch on the air pump and adjust the airflow to suit the aquarium and its inhabitants. * Allow the filter to run continuously for consistent filtration and aeration. An external air pump and airline tubing are required and may be sold separately. Cleaning & Maintenance: * Disconnect the air pump before cleaning. * Rinse the filter cotton and biological media gently in water removed from the aquarium. * Never clean the filter media with soap, chemicals or chlorinated tap water. * Do not replace all biological media at the same time, as this may remove beneficial bacteria. * Clean or replace the air stone if bubbling becomes weak. Safety Warnings: * Install a non-return check valve or position the air pump above the aquarium’s water level to prevent water backflow. * Ensure all airline connections are secure before operation. * Disconnect the air pump before placing your hands in the aquarium. * Keep away from small children. * For aquarium use only.
