Sponge Filter

A compact sponge filter that provides gentle mechanical and biological filtration while improving water circulation and aeration. Suitable for betta tanks, shrimp tanks, fry, breeding aquariums and quarantine setups. Installation & Usage: * Rinse the sponge gently with clean, dechlorinated water before first use. * Connect airline tubing from a separate air pump to the filter’s air inlet. Place the filter upright on the aquarium floor and switch on the air pump. * An air pump and airline tube are required for operation and may need to be purchased separately. Cleaning & Maintenance: * When the airflow reduces or the sponge becomes dirty, gently squeeze it several times in water removed from the aquarium. * Do not wash the sponge under chlorinated tap water, as this can destroy beneficial bacteria. Never use soap or cleaning chemicals. Safety Warnings: * Install a non-return check valve or position the air pump above the water level to prevent back-siphoning. * Disconnect the air pump before installation or maintenance. * Keep away from small children.
